Origami Butterflies

I made this card for a friend who recently lost her mum.

I used a pearlescent paper in green and purple and a marble effect paper in similar colours. I used the easibox score board to create the octagons and shape for the card, them simply layered up. The butterfly boarder is punched using a ek butterfly border punch and the flowers are a papermania punch. Finally I embellished it with pearls. To make the butterflies use a 2 or 3 inch square and fold diagionally. Crease well. Then fold again to create aright angled triangle. Crease well and unfold this fold only. Then with point facing down, fold up and above first fold made. Finally, make a fold at a 45 degree angle at each side. You need to make two for each butterfly. I got the instructions from a magazine, the new Hunkydory one if it helps.

Hope you like and thanks for looking
